Yeah, Bravo was very confident and sure with his distribution tonight.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say in these early stages of his Barca career, I feel less worried about some massive bungle at the back than I did with Victor.

His 50m throw out to Leo was a thing of beauty.

VV was criticized all over because of his distribution and blunders off his feet, I have yet to see one from Bravo.

You can have a personal opinion, preference or taste, but a bold statement usually requires a factual argument.
A comparison can't be made between hundreds of games VV has at Barca a and Bravo who just came in.

Factually you gotta watch every tough game Bravo played for Barca and closely monitor his decision making with the ball at his feet when pressed.

Valdes' distribution had detoriated a lot in recent seasons. He only had 62 % and 63 % passing accuracy in his last 2 seasons. Bravo has 81 % so far this season. That's surprisingly not a problem with him. He had a brainfart today coming out of his line and catching air for one of their set piece though, luckily Rafinha was behind and booted it away.

He is an unsung hero.He does not get to save too many shots as compared to the big epl teams keepers. As a result keepers like de gea sometimes pull of a performance like he did vs liverpool. On an average he saves 2-3 difficult saves per game. But he does that consistently.

In hindsight, Valdes' long passing was rather poor, not to mention he had a knack for fuckin' up but that's well known. And Pinto... Whenever he got the ball the foundations of the camp nou wobbled. I'd say watching Mats and Bravo it is clear there's improvement.

I know we all love Ter Stegen, but seriously, bravo Claudio Bravo.

Bravo might probably be in top 5 gk's right now. We bought him at the right time. Valdes was great but he kind of created some tense atmosphere in tito time. He was doing amazing in tata time but he got injured later. Then pinto came and we all know what happened. I feel much safer with Bravo now and i am also happy that we got another talented Gk ready to step in.

He had one save and it wasn't even that good..... I agree that he's been performing well overall but today was nothing special, pretty much every time the opposition got anywhere near our goal they just smashed it wide or high.

I don't agree with your last statement. I don't think Ter Stegen has been doing 'very well'. Bravo looks more secure and also probably has made more saves per game.

For a young goalkeeper in a new country with new club and a new language, I think he's performing, at the very least, decently. Obviously, he'll get better with time. For now, Bravo has been better. And that was to be expected. After all we brought in Bravo because he knows Spanish, he knows La Liga, and he has experience and leadership qualities.
