What message does it send to players?

Also:
1. if Mats plays well, what then? To give him more time or what?
2. if Mats screws and costs our points, what then? How to explain that to players and fans?

Again, this is not the moment for Mats, Barta and Rafinha.
They will get minutes only when it is needed to rest key players.

When you find a right team, you can't ruin the momentum, confidence and chemistry because of a single player, who is not playing.
The whole team is more important than any player. No matter how young, popular or potentially good he is.

Bartra and Rafinha are a diffrent matter, don't mix them up.

1. If MAtS plays well give him more chances against weaker teams at home like the 17th team in La Liga, he's gotta start as soon as possbile not the next season.
2. Don't think plausible Barca loses points at home vs Levante because of a mistake by MAtS. It didin't even cost Barca points a mistake by Bravo against Bilbao at San Mames. Be serious  And you explain it simply with rotations.

The keeper isn't a field player so it is not that much about ruining the momentum, confidence and chemistry of the team. Its not like using Pinto instead of Bravo but it is MAtS...

Faceless

No more faces at night
Maybe by the next year time the much younger and inexperienced MAtS would have his confidence blown by that logic. You gotta let the kid play more especially home in routine matches.

MATS should be able to shake it off. He knows and admits everyone is relying on him for the future. He will get his chances, and eventually Bravo will be sidelined even if we don't want him to be.

I don't mind Bravo playing all La Liga games this season if he won't blunder in important games like this. But I'd personally infiltrate MAtS to La Liga little by little by now instead of throwing him directly to the lions by the start of the next season.

Vital save in the first half, great and composed distribution but I feel he could have done better in their second goal. Still a very good performance on the night mind.

Valdes blunders and so does MAtS so what exactly are you getting at? Are you say we should have a keeper who doesn't make mistakes? If you ever find one then let us know.

May I ask why is it so important for him to start "as soon as possible"?
What is going to happen if HE won't start? The world will end, football won't be played anymore?

Also what is so important about the NEXT SEASON?

For me, as a Barca fan, all I care currently is THIS season.
We have 9 wins in a row, we look awesome currently. We are on a hot streak.

We can still win even La Liga and Champions league.
So, in the end, WHY is it so important TODAY to care about whether a substitute GK is unhappy currently, and why we should care about the next Season already?

If we would have been be out of all 3 competitions, then we would have to think about the next Season.
We are currently "in" in all 3 competitions, and we are looking VERY, VERY good currently.

Again, in posts like these, it seems that a single player is more important than the whole team.

I agree, it's not a best time for the change because it will kill Bravo's confidence, but I think MAtS should be the first next year.

Why should he? Bravo will be this season's zamora and LFP recepient. It's natural he's rewarded and continues next season, and up until he ceases being Liga's best keeper which is may be 4-5 years more.
But no worries, Sevilla and Sociedad will soon be in the market for a Keeper. We can send over our lesser talented albeit younger and everyone's fav tS. Problem solved IMHO.

Bravo is a very good GK, but he makes stupid mistakes. He used to make them quite often, this year he hadn't so far. I don't expect him to be the best, but his actual level will do until next year. I just hope MATS is really that good because bravo is not enough for barça.

What? The better player in preseason should start. And that WILL be MaTS.

Goddamn, TS less talented than Bravo? Are you crazy? All he has is experience and luck. Otherwise MaTS would have been number 1, as is evident by the numbers they were given.

What preseason? It's decisive only for players who are new to the club. Bravo has already established his roots by being magnificient and goat level this season. He has the performances, experience and confidence of his teammates, who seem to clearly prefer him. tS is an unknown hyped quantity who flatters to deceive. The sooner you all realize, the lesser you will be disappointed.

Now I've seen it all. I'm sorry but how do you know that his teammates prefer Bravo? TS played really well for Monchengladbach, but I suppose that counts for nothing.

Also Bravo is GOAT level? :slap:

Bravo for making me laugh. :pep:
