Calma, calma
He's not the same kind of keeper, though. His responsibilities in the back are a lot more than flinging himself at a flying ball at Barca.

But your initial argument was about him being "genuinely a shit goalkeeper" not about playing the ball out of the back. You should consider your words more carefully, you always end up sounding harsher/more extreme than you probably mean to.

He wasn't shit before he came to us, he had a few blunders which people tended to focus on. Overall he was a pretty good keeper, especially for Chile.

TBH, the dynamic of his back play in Chile is the same as the one demanded in Barca.

For obvious reasons and the way teams play he gets more attention/work in Chile.

He wasn't a good keeper by any stretch of the imagination when in between the sticks for La Real. Perhaps he wasn't "Shit", but he almost certainly was nowhere near where he is now.

That could quite possibly be a season defining screw up, though. Because of that mistake we have no choice but to beat Atletico away if we want to win the league.

That is if Real do not drop points for the remainder of the season, which is highly unlikely. They are facing Sevilla and Valencia in between their Juventus games, not to mention Celta away tomorrow. ONE draw is all it takes, and we can afford to lose a game.

I see them failing against Juventus more than I see them slipping up in the league to be honest. Juventus has something to prove and are difficult to score on while any Liga team may at any point decide to turn around and bend over for Ronaldo and co.

So your argument is that since he was "shit" before now that he is "good", we should waste him?

Anything can be a season defining screw up if you strawman any mistake by him or others (past, present, future). That level of analysis is done when the league ends.

I don't. I'm just basing it on how there are five games left and that Madrid no matter their form have a way of getting their points, even if they have to cheat to get them.

Your basing one keeper's performance argument on another team's performance, you are deviating.

They play Sevilla,Valencia and Celta.Last year they lost Points in all this matches and they are never that good against the better Teams in la Liga anyway.Of course there are also the CL semis for them which makes it even harder. The chances that they won´t drop Points are very slim.

Yes Bravo probably should have saved it but Pique also messed up.

RM will drop points no doubts, trust me, they must be VERY pissed about how we handled this month :) :) :)
