Di Maria's influence on the Argentina gameplay is grossly exaggerated. Argentina doesn't need big names in the team to do all kind of fancy dribbles and misplaced passes for doing just one good thing once in a while, but a team player who plays simple and effective. Personally I have been more happy with Gaitan in this tournament than I've been with Di Maria for the past years. Di Maria fucks up way more chances than he creates them.
