Yes but until 2015 Ronaldo's overall play was miles better than Muller's, and considering he started to become a key player for United around 2007 he has been a better footballer than Muller for about 9/10 years.

His performance against the Cruyffian team in the 1974 WC itself is enough for you understand how important he's for the tactical aspect of their play. Watch how the match turns in the second half when he starts to play in the role of Attacking Midfielder. The match was Cruyff vs Beckenbauer. But he was the most important aspect of the game.

Muller was known as a penalty box striker who came alive in and around the six yard box.

Never scored variety of goals Ronaldo has and never got involved in build up to as many goals either.

Don't agree at all, his overall play surely has become worse over the years but he's always been a better footballer than Muller who for example wasn't as fast as him or couldn't score free-kicks.

Only in the last 2 years I agree that he has become a player like Muller, but at 33 years of age Muller was basically finished as a player.
