Whom will they buy now?
Imo, they don't need Hazard.

I guess that they will pursue Neyboy, Mbappe or Salah.
One of them will come for 200+ Millions.

** Bale will probably stay now and get more freedom.

Salah signed a new contract
Kane signed a new contract (dont see him leaving England as after this WC he'll be the face of the PL)
Mbappe and Neymar.. yeah good luck with that

Hazard is the only likely and available target

They will most likely spend their money on Courtois, they will chase Neymar but in vain. Perhaps they will get Hazard and Kane.

Kane is a no-go for at least 2-3 years. Will never leave Premier League if England win the World Cup.

People supporting Spanish teams need to realise that Madrid and Barca can no longer say a name they're interested in and expect the club will get the deal done. Landscape has changed a lot.

Plus when Messi retires...

In the future, La liga will hardly be as famous in the last 10-15 years.

Hmmm, 15 years ago Beckham made his move to RM (after his situation escalated with SAF), 17 years ago Zidane forced his way to RM from Italy biggest team, Owen forced his way to RM 14 years ago, Henry told Arsenal he wants to go to Barca 11 years ago and the list goes on and on.
La liga culture has been insane, famous and appreciated for decades, they made glaring mistakes in marketing when they didn't explore Asian markets |(62% of world population) and USA (The country that has bigger GDP than whole European Union) but there has been a lot of work to catch those.
Messi and Cr7 are the greatest player rivalry in history of the game. What they have done will be remembered and used in marketing beyond their time. Obviously losing this rivalry will hurt a bit but it was gonna happen anyway.
As you keep saying Barca and RM will always buy stars. we weill survive

Even Real wont get these players, Salah just renewed and we all know how PSG deals with this situation.

messi has better skills, but you have to win club + NT trophies to be GOAT, everyone agrees on these requirements. we should avoid being biased just because we like barca

Ronaldo isn't even close. Its either Messi by skill/talent/consistency (and also impressive achievements) or Pele for what he won with brazil, but certainly not Ronaldo lol

That Euro title doesnt make Ronaldo a better footballer.

I meant Champions leagues, not La ligas.
Barca and RM will dominate in La Liga.
6-7 teams will randomly win in a CL.

A typo, my bad.
CLs, not LA ligas.

Ah! Okay. That makes sense. Real and Barca dominated last few years in CL, might not happen so soon. But it is not impossible for that run again.

During 2017-18 season, Benzema scored 5 goals in 9 UCL-games alone.

Which makes Suárez's numbers even worse despite being the receving end for most of our chances we create and Valverde using 4-4-2 system in order to play his strengths.

Agreed. He was one of the main reasons for our shitty CL runs.

He was involved for Benzema's opener vs. Barcelona by making a decoy run to create some space for his teammate.

That's one match from 38 though.
Anyway... Cristiano was the main reason why Real Madrid even reached SF in the 1st place.

Ended up as a top scorer in UCL and had a great tournament overall.

Some few bad performance shouldn't really take away from it tbh.

Sure let's say he was the reason for reaching the SF. In my opinion Modric was the driving force behind Madrid but that's besides the point.

What are we arguing about though? That he's still a great player or that he'll continue to decline and his wages will not reflect his contribution in the next 3/4 years? I did not argue the first point. I merely said that in comparison with his other CL runs, last year's was his weakest by far. That has happened with him missing 4 matches in La Liga(suspension from the Super cup) and countless other La Liga games before their CL matches. La Liga was also lost so no pressure to perform in it anyway. He was as ready to play CL matches as he could. He'll need the same amount or even more rest in the future as well. RM simply could not afford that for their 30-40m per year player.

I'll continue to stand by my point. It's a good decision for both RM and CRonaldo to part ways. RM can go into developing for the future with a nice budget consolidated with money from this transaction and CRonaldo will go into a 1 horse league where even if he doesn't play Juve will be favorite for the double. His only concern will be CL and CL only.

Beckham, after a fight with Ferguson, and in the days when EPL was not reach as today.
Zidane, A Frenchman playing for an Italian team, coming to Spain, aged 29, for his last, the most lucrative contract. It happens, he is not "connected" with any of clubs, like English players (EPL) today or German players.
Owen, coming from Liverpool which wasn't able to win anything and yet Liverpool even lost the momentum from Owen's early years, iirc.

I am not saying that Barca and Real will die.
But we were No1 and No2, or in the worst case, Top3 in the last 10-12 years BOTH.

Imagine tomorrow Barca without Messi. Is Barca with Coutinho and Dembele as leaders a top3 team in the world? I don't think so.
My point is: from an undisputed No1 and No2, we will drop to Top 5-6-7 equal teams:
Barca, Real, Bayern, Psg, City, Chelsea, Juventus.

Even today, WITH Messi, a huge part of neutral fans don't rate Barca as a Top 2-3 team anymore, they rate us as "one of" top 4-5-6 equally good teams.

Emile Heskey could have been in that Portugal squad instead, sat out the final and they’d still have won.
