So you admit to not having the time to watch the matches but then come with this kind of responses?

Yeah, waste of time.

here's gasgas in a nutshell:

doesn't watch our matches.

trashes our players after CL exit or liga loss.

doesn't watch real matches.

praises all their players yet continues to "support" barca

ridicules other people's suggested formations and transfer targets

comes up with the most delusional formations and transfer targets himself

rinse and repeat.

i've been told once that it's like a breath of fresh air.
whether true or not, that's an encouragement

Ronaldo isn't even close. Its either Messi by skill/talent/consistency (and also impressive achievements) or Pele for what he won with brazil, but certainly not Ronaldo lol

That Euro title doesnt make Ronaldo a better footballer.

Ronaldo won 3 straight champions league, that's just as impressive because he's the only top player that has accomplished this. He also has more CL's than messi and after this year probably more Balon D'ors. That's what people will remember in the future

Beckham, after a fight with Ferguson, and in the days when EPL was not reach as today.
Zidane, A Frenchman playing for an Italian team, coming to Spain, aged 29, for his last, the most lucrative contract. It happens, he is not "connected" with any of clubs, like English players (EPL) today or German players.
Owen, coming from Liverpool which wasn't able to win anything and yet Liverpool even lost the momentum from Owen's early years, iirc.

I am not saying that Barca and Real will die.
But we were No1 and No2, or in the worst case, Top3 in the last 10-12 years BOTH.

Imagine tomorrow Barca without Messi. Is Barca with Coutinho and Dembele as leaders a top3 team in the world? I don't think so.
My point is: from an undisputed No1 and No2, we will drop to Top 5-6-7 equal teams:
Barca, Real, Bayern, Psg, City, Chelsea, Juventus.

Even today, WITH Messi, a huge part of neutral fans don't rate Barca as a Top 2-3 team anymore, they rate us as "one of" top 4-5-6 equally good teams.

We will be always very attractive to players, great city, great culture and great club. That would last after Messi for at least a decade unless we are ub full self destruction mode.
Beckham and Owen were the greatest and most popular English players back then, and yet they forced there way to SPAIN not another team in EPL (which happens). You think if Harry Kane or Hazard decided to leave there clubs they are going to City or RM?
And don't mix that with "are we going to be top 2-3' clubs etc. That is totally irrelevant argument. Manu is still very marketable and famous (and attractive to players) even after SAF left and they sucked

Madrid will regret leaving it this late to sell him. last summer was the perfect time with Mbappe being available. Hazard and Icardi are great players but they won't replace Ronaldo

Yes, because the 13th top scorer in Ligue would easily replace the guy that scored over a goal per game for 9 years.

Mbappe isn't even 1/8th of the player Ronaldo was for RM.

Still doesn't make Ronaldo a better footballer and by that logic...where is his world cup trophy? What a loser lol. If Messi somehow wins Copa is he the GOAT again? That way of looking at it is so stupid, but you're right thats how a lot of people watch football these days.

Not Ronaldo won these CL trophies, Real Madrid won them.

We have been in circles with that a lot lately:
1. Messi won CLs when he ahd Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Alves
Without them, he can't win anymore, more or less.
2. CR7 didn't win when we had Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Alves, Messi.
Now when they are gone and when he had a good team around him, he was winning.

So, both CR7 and Messi were winning when they had a good team around them.
None of them won with crappy players around them.

Messi's advantage are La Liga trophies.
CR7 won 5 Cls (Man Utd 1, Rm4), Messi 4.
CR7 was able to win 4 out 5 during RM's golden years.
Messi won 2 out of 4, never a back to back title.
Cr7 also won Euros.

This contest wasn't even a contest 5 years ago.
Messi was a Goat then.
But in the last 5 years, Messi turned into a ghost mode in a CL (12 out of 13 last CL knockout rounds in 1/4s, semis and a final without a goal). And Cr7 won 4 out 5 CLs, plus Euros.

In terms of skills, Messi was better.
In terms of being decisive, CR7 won more big titles (Cls and Euros).
If you count La ligas as big titles, then Messi is better in terms of trophies.
CDRs shouldn't be count in any way, though.

in what world are la ligas not big titles? 6 of the 9 ligas messi has were won against CR7 and a strong real madrid side...

this isn't bundesliga or serie A.

BBZ8800 how the hell can you even propose the idea of not calling La Liga a big title?

Buddy, sometimes you really need to step back a bit, take a look at what you wrote, and weigh up sense and logic against your desire for blindly peddling your case for the sake of winning an argument.

And I know you're aware of this - anything to further your case right? But when trying to argue Cronaldo's deciciveness, you really shouldn't mention the Euros, where he - aside from a couple of goals against Hungary - was a complete nonfactor. Had his team, in his absense mind you, not fluked their way to the title, noone would ever bother mentioning his role in the 2016 Euros.
