I don’t think it was unwise for Real Madrid to sell Ronaldo at all. They got 100m for him after all. More importantly, they had to start the replacement/rebuilding process somewhere.

Yes they could have hold onto him for one or possibly two more seasons but that would have impeded the likes of Vinicius or however you spell his name.

They are not doing THAT bad considering how important Ronaldo was for them. Just wait and see after we lose Messi, who is much harder to replace than Ronaldo.

I think we can all agree now that Real Madrid selling Cristiano was one of the WORST SPORTING DECISIONS of all time.

Just look at the difference between Juventus and Real Madrid. Massive gap in quality, all because the transfer of one player from one club to the other.

Incredible.

Real sucked any way, even with Ronaldo they were weak in LaLiga. Nothing new. Their team needs new players.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic slams Ronaldo.

"Cristiano is talking about new challenges, he calls it a challenge to move to a club where it is already normal to win the Serie A,” the 37-year-old said.

“Why did he not choose a club from a second division a few years ago?"

"Try to become a champion with such a second-division champion and lead them to the highest level, which is a challenge.

“It is bullshit, moving to Juventus is not a challenge at all."

Zlatan has the balls to say things how they are. Such a shame Pep couldn't swallow his pride for a player like Zlatan
Spot on.

Doesnt matter that much, we have all seen Barca go into auto-pilot in la liga, with or without Messi.

In fact, Barca breezes through LL just as easy without him, its not really about Messi, Barca is just destined to never fail domestically.

Morten you sound like an otherwise pretty reasonable guy when it comes to other stuff but why you are always like this when it comes to this topic is really, really perplexing.

Of course we are not the same without Messi. Being able to hang in there for a few games and winning does not change that fact.

Zlatan hasn't ever expressed the reasons for his moves were for "challenges" he just moves on to where he wants to live for the most part and who pays him the most.

He just won Juve the Super Coppa after scoring the winning goal.

Unreal player. The most clutch player ever, unbreakable confidence and he has ice in his veins.

Showing up in such big games in something most players must prepare themselves mentally and physically...for Ronaldo it's just natural.

:wow:

No doubt he will do this the CL again like he does every year.

Unbelievable.
