He is held by even higher standards than CR7 due to his immense natural talent. Kinda like the expectations on R9 and Maradona. CR7 has also had enormous ones but comparatively less, IMO. He was also very, very gifted but not a golden boy.

Looking at the years from 2005-2007 he looked gifted as fuck but over the years he focused only on scoring and lost the other abilities. People who dont have watched him in his early United years often think he is only a training product.
