Would be curious how they would do together...there's no attacker more creative than Messi and CR7 is still a fox in the box.

But then there is the fact that neither of them bothers on defense.

They will be dominant attack wise, no doubt.
They would have fit with each others at any stage of their career too, but would have never reached their full potential together. I think football fans were lucky that they decided to compete and be rival to each others.
I think they have grown a massive respect to each other, like many rivals in sport usually do later in their career, and sometimes I wonder if they will ever entertain the idea of playing with each other.
PSG/MLS are the only places that could happen, as non of them will go to the the other one club.

I'd like to see it tbh. Not in Europe though, perhaps in the States. Although both will prob go to diff teams if I had to guess.

Cristiano is basically the perfect player for Messi with his movement and positioning.

It'd be like Pele and Maradona somehow both wound up playing for the Cosmos in the 70s or something. Haha.

I've read that Juve wants to get at least 29 mil for him ?

If we don't get Haaland , make an offer for him.

Sell Griezmann and Coutinho so we have some room for his financial requests.

He probably wouldn't want to come since he's been all these years at RM but I don't doubt we would win La Liga comfortable with Messi and him.

Would be awesome if he shits on his RM legacy like that. Just let him walk between penalty spot and six-yard box for half a year and then ship him off to New York.

I actually probably wouldn't mind him on 1-2 year deal and half the wage he gets at Juve, especially if it means Benzema fucks off to Lyon to free up the space.

He should have never left them, but this would be a bad move for Real Madrid. If they're smart they put together the resources needed to sign Mbappe.

Could do both depending what Juve prioritise and if they're willing to sell for 50ish

You'd take CR for 50? Seems awfully high for someone his age.

LL is poor these days but still quite a bit better than Serie A. Doubt he wants to risk a second stint like ZZ did.

But if he comes back, I think Barca/Messi will be more motivated.

The most likely option - I think he goes to PSG to "challenge" himself, again.

Don't think they'll want to pay for him if not getting anything for Mbappe.

The lowest it'd make sense for them to go and the highest RM might be tempted to go if Dortmund refuse every offer for Haaland under 140 this summer.

Benzema out, Cristiano in is an instant improvement on scoring stats.

Would be a massive L on his career leaving this season. Terrible CL exits, outscored by 36 year old Quagliarella and Immobile and if they don’t win Serie A after 8/9 years domination.

Like you said I think Madrid need to be very careful with a Ronaldo return, statistically it can never be as good as last time. But could also be even worse than expected like Zidane return. Other than goals he’s declined massively, the few times I’ve watched him this season he’s had stinkers, worse player on pitch.

He's finished at the top level but manages to mask it with scoring against Crotone and the likes.

CL IMO is the true indicator. Once you struggle to score v second tier teams repeatedly (one offs can happen), it's curtains. He was pretty good in his first Juve season but has been horrendous in CL since.
