It's amusing to see Juve fans over at 'Tuz' doing cartwheels for him again after doing the exact opposite v Porto. The combination of the two matches is nothing new. He can't do it in the CL anymore but he can in the dinosaur league. But I wouldn't expect fans of a club that has lost 5 straight CL finals and 7 straight European finals since 1996 to know anything about football.

Also, karma for them laughing at Barcelona. Back to back R of 16 eliminations v Lyon and Porto is some next level embarrassment.

highly doubt hell win the golden boot. Lewa has a much better team and is a better striker ATM; hell continue bagging doubles, maybe a couple of hattricks, for Bayern until the season ends. surely he'll take the pichihi in Seria A (whatever its called)

i hope messi responds to his own CL elimination in the same way. we need to go full in for the la liga

Messi has us within 4 points of AM with a game in hand while CR7 has Juve within 10 points of Inter with a game in hand.

Safe to see who's performing better on the domestic front as well.

That is not correct.
Barca is 4 points behind Atletico if they win their game in hand, Juve is 7 points behind Inter if they win their game in hand, not 10.

that's true--but have you seen Juve play? they're hardly a high-scoring or even high-chance making team

I don't see how that changes my overall conclusion though. I think most people would also agree AM is a better team than Inter.

Now, 4 points behind is a much better position to be in than 7 points, just needed to correct it though.

that's true. no doubt about it. the thing about italy, though, is that, more often than not, when Juve plays direct rivals (inter, milan) they win. (not always, but pretty reliably). on the other hand there is no guarantee whatsoever that Barca will beat both Atlei and Real. So that has to be taken into consideration as well

killing it

Isn’t your specialty calling Messi out for scoring against regular La Liga teams and not in important CL games..... said many times you “don’t care” about him scoring against those teams yet here you are cheerleading for Ronaldo a game after his humiliation in CL... you could make it a little more subtle

The double standards is incredible!!!! :worthy:

Yeah, that's true. But I also don't think CR is the best in the world, and certainly not the GOAT. So the standards for him are accordingly lower. At his age, bagging hattricks is very remarkable--12 seasons scoring at least 20 goals and running, too. Great stuff.

I hope Messi does the same in Spain now that we can't win the CL.

I will say that it was a little clueless of CR to celebrate the way he did today though. Considering the recent CL disappointment he should have been a little humbler. But I guess that's not his ethos.
