At any rate, I just don't see the problem. CR doesn't play for Real; no goal he scores for Juve in Seria A affects Barca. No goal he scores in the CL affects Barca (unless of course it is in the context of a Juve-Barca match). So what he does for Juve is harmless. What's the big deal then?

His goals were pivotal in winning two Serie A titles and keeping Juventus in the current title race. If there is one thing Ronaldo is good at, its scoring goals, lets not be disingenuous.

A propos your post... I don't subscribe to this point of view. People don't need to go around writing posts showing respect for their ex rivals. It's become a part of a narrative, people don't get emotionally involved as much as you might think.

What I meant is that I don't think his stats or what he's doing in Serie A is a big deal at all when they did better with other strikers.

He should have never left Real Madrid. He left a perfect situation with a team tailor made for him strengths.

You literally said it is 'disgusting' for Barca fans to praise CR in a Barca forum. That's the word you used. I think it's hilarious--and very revealing--how you will do whatever you can to criticize CR even though what he does has no bearing whatsoever for Barca. Who's obsessed now?

You worship Messi, of course. It was very funny when CR let that ball go through his legs against Porto. Hilarious and all the rest of it. But Messi misses a crucial and tie-changing PK and--behold: not a word. It's all rather selective.

Users here will meme CR7 when the opportunity presents. It's far more harmless than opposition forums. For instance, RM forums refer to Messi as a midget and a gnome on the regular.
