What's cringy about that? There are a ton of KingLeo posts that follow mine on this thread. I have no interest in what is in them. I'm being courteous, in fact, by letting him know that he shouldn't waste his time/energy on me. I am also very clear that if I am misreading the situation and he is not in fact responding to me, then the post should be disregarded.

I did, yeah, because he has a problem with me that I don't understand. Chases me all over the forum; has a problem with the fact that I like Wolfe; has repeatedly attempted to have me banned even after I stopped breaking any rules. I surmised that he must be doing that because he is obsessed, . At any rate I've deleted it since. I am not interested in what he has to say.

Thing is , you ( a so called Barcelona fan ) didn't waste any time and criticised Messi after he scored the only goals , one being potentially the best CL goal of this edition , complaining that he lost us the tie because of a penalty miss that would made us need 3 more goals to go through.

1. I have already said that Messi played really well in the second game. In two previous posts in fact I was clear that Messi had scored a wonder goal. Which it was.
2. My point is that Messi's failed PK ruined the possibility of a comeback result. Not that we were eliminated because of it. Again: I have said in numerous posts that the elimination is due also to Dembele, Griezmann, and Lenglet. I couldn't be clearer about that.

CR scored 0 against a weak Porto side , let himself get nutmegged and lose the tie for Juventus cause of that , for the 3rd year in a row against weak teams and you came after the game and said this :

Yes: I was trolling then (easy to tell). I am not here. If you bothered to read my posts you'd know that I think CR failed Juve in the CL. Not sure how much more clear I can be about that.

How is it not absurd? The free kick basically ruined the possibility that Juve would go to the QF because it was an away goal.

I'm pretty sure if Messi was the one in the wall and didn't defend properly in that free kick goal, a lot of users in this forum will criticize him, me included.

Juve were playing at home; they have a more talented squad overall. What they failed to do was impose themselves in the game and score goals. It's also up to the keeper, ultimately, to make those saves.

I think it's a stretch to say that the wall thing cost them the tie. It was still a close game. But I am not dead set on this; I'm open to other views.

The wall did cost them the tie, as it forced Juve needing to score 2 more goals in the last 10 minute-ish. If the wall did its job properly, then Juve might have had a better chance of qualifying to the QF with them playing against a 10 men Porto.

No, I did not use the word 'praise' together with 'disgusting'. But it is undoubtedly fun seeing alleged objective fans write posts like this one:

You worship Messi, of course. It was very funny when CR let that ball go through his legs against Porto. Hilarious and all the rest of it. But Messi misses a crucial and tie-changing PK and--behold: not a word. It's all rather selective.

Let me summarize this for you: I worship Messi because I didn't write a post criticizing him for a missed pen (even though I almost never write there) but you don't worship Ronaldo with posts like this (sorry, gotta do it again, someone might've missed it like me):

I don't think CR is 'better'; I do think he's had a better career overall. There's a difference between those two things. For example, few people, I think, would deny that R9 was better than CR. But he didn't have a better career (injuries and all that).
