Ronaldo is still good but he needs good passes which he rarely gets from juve midfield. Its the same Ronaldo like 4 years ago when he scored 10 cl knockout goals against bayern, atletico and juve. Looking at these goals you see he got lots of great passes from his team mates, his overall play is average since 2014 but his off-ball movement is still on another level. So relax guys he will come back

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 47% of the Juventus' goal this year, Winning around 16 points. Without him, the Bianconeri would be in 9th place in the standings with 40 points. [SportMediaset]

Without all of Sczesny's saves, Juve would probably be in 20th.

Ig story Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus): "Come on @ANSUFATI you'll be back soon! Go for it! 🙏🏼💪🏼" [cristiano]

Gets some coins for this

Nah, this Fati-Ronaldo bromance gives me Anakin-Palpatine vibes. Have trust in either you should not.

Sorry guys but I might have some business to take care of during the Juve-Napoli match tomorrow. I'll probably try to avoid spoilers and watch a replay of the match later, so don't get too stressed if Im not posting in this thread post match.

Thank god he left for Juve. I hope the rumors of him going back aren't true. He could still win another CL there.

Another disasterclass, camouflaged by goal he got served. That header was hilarious. Also, he is just as ?good? against decent teams as he is against the shite ones, he does feck all apart from goalhanging anyway.

Do you just unironically watch all Juve games just to see how bad Ronaldo would play? if yes thats hilarious

In his defense: been watching Juve lately and whole team seems uninspired and with lower team morale than usual. Think Pirlo is out end of the season.

Juve has two great keepers. Would have been a different story if they were any less good.

If current RM had CR7 they could seriously be fighting for the treble. Insane when you think how bad the quality is throughout Europe now.

For now it seems like he is close to being finished, 36 years old and all that. But in November it looked like Messi was finished, being in the worst form of his life while Ronaldo would score week in and week out. Football sentiments are very fickle and the prevailing winds change regularly. I think Messi still has 2-3 years left at the highest level, and Ronaldo can play reasonably well until 40 - look at Ibra. It's not the case of just Ronaldo being poor but Juve's midfield and chance creation being very mediocre as well. Ronaldo and Chiesa are the only two sources of danger in this team. Luckily for them, Dybala is back.

Not sure. Vinicius and Benzema are doing very well in the positions Ronaldo likes to play.

Vinicius doing very well in Ronaldo's position? Whoa, slow down. You are basing something on too small of a sample again.
He has a long way to go.

Ronaldo plays out wide a bit, but he and Vinicius really doesnt have the same role in the team, would have worked fine i think.
Benzema plays more central now, i guess we could have played 4-4-2 or something if CR was here, or the 3-5-2 as we have in recent times, with Vinicius being the main wide attacker on the left.

Don't kid yourself man. Ronaldo is a CF (and not a hardworking like Benzema). He is just on paper positioned on the wing to keep the illusion alive that he is an entertaining and maybe even creative player with spectacular dribbling abilities and thereby draw more shirt buying fanboys.

Nonsense.

Real tried him at CF a number of times and it didnt work.

He is/was a wide player with freedom to get in box off the ball. No one is under any illusions about who he is or ho he plays by now and it has zero to do with 'selling shirts'.
