His numbers alone will always make him a top 5. Also, his winning mentality in big matches stands out.

Debatable.

In terms of talent and impact on games, level at his peak he certainly isn't top 5, in terms of stats and career value he probably is.

Imo Messi, Pele and Maradona are clearly ahead, he is in the group of De Stefano, Cruyff, Puskas, Beckenbauer, R9, Platini.

Only the Barcelona and 1st year Inter version of Ronaldo was better than CR7. His potential was absolutely insane (biggest natural talent/genius along with Messi and Maradona), but in terms of what they produced at their peak (not just 2 years but like 5 years) and career, CR7 is comfortably better.

I have him in my top 5, behind Messi, Maradona, and Pele. Him and Cruyff is a toss-up IMO.
