What astounds me is that CR gets away with diving so much. Commentators and Pundits are too busy drooling over his tricks and flicks to even notice that their God is a serial diver and crybaby. Suarez, Bale etc. do dive buy they are continuously lambasted and their reputation is very bad. But i cant even recall CR ever even getting a caution for diving let alone getting criticized by the media.
When we talk about him several years after he has retired i bet their will be no mention of his diving by his fans or even many neutrals

Yeah, the worst I've heard is stuff like "he made the most of it/meal out of it" etc, nothing that really makes what he did sound "bad" or shameful though.

Funny how the "Intention " count for nothing when it suits the argument....
however when it's against a Barcelona player... other teams are always judged by the intention

Personally, I only really ever use the "intention" argument if it was an action that could have seriously injured a player that they "dived" away from (such as a high boot). A slight slap to Ronaldo's face wasn't going to injure him, and he wasn't diving to get away from it, but embellishing purely to get Chiellini sent off.
I criticize Barca players when they dive too, so it's not just me hating Madrid. And I hate Juve almost as much, so for me to defend them is serious business lol.

I'm not looking for anyone changing his opinion here nor am i pointing a finger at you or anyone else ...i'm just catching a clear case of double standards ..
couple of times this season Cule's argued for the intention of harm and an elbow in the face despite not being strong is an intention to harm.. Giorgio did see Ronaldo ,he knew he was about to pass him (due to speed ) and he kept on using his elbow

What match are you talking about? I haven't been around as frequently lately so I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to or what Ramos did.

Gio with his incessant spin...First CR isn't a diver or that he's treated unfairly (Nevermind how his dive was once again condemned as simulation to change a match) and now Ramos is merely understood rather than someone with a history of douchery...Comparing a phantom elbow from Chiellini, who is not known for douchery, is yet another in the long line of tall tales & spin doctoring from those that follow the capital club...'It's not me, it's you' logic is profound
