Nope, Ronaldo doesn't perform against good defences. Chiellini and Barzagli will have him in their pockets.

Whether or not he performs well is irrelevant to what the poster said. CR has this knack of having an average-to-below-average all round performance, but scoring 2 goals.

I think it's THE reason his overall game is as overrated as it is. He has isolated moments in a game (the run for a goal, a powerful strike), and so his overall performance is almost always forgotten.

I wouldn't be surprised if he (for the 197536th time) plays meh (constantly miscontrolling passes, passing askew etc all while acting as if others are to blame of course) and scores twice.
