Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

To be totally honest, I'd probably be a bit of an ass at times too. Well, more than a bit. With fans wanting to mob you all the time, people taking photos and invading your private life, it'd get annoying as hell. Not everybody is the polite type who want to deal with bullshit, not so much the fans themselves, but the rest of the crap that comes with fame. I totally understand why some sports stars and celebrities are cunts. They don't care how they are perceived either, they are the ones making the money and having a successful career after all. An it's not really legit to say something as silly as, "well if you don't like it then don't be a movie/sports star" or something like that.

I see your point, but doesn't Ronaldo want to be remembered as 'a good guy'?
After his football career, people will see him as an arrogant douche for the rest of his life.

Did CR really whine about balon d'or to the media and that's why they reopened votes or is that speculation? Sorry a little behind.

That is speculation but the fact that FIFA reopened the voting just the day after Ronaldo's hattrick for the first time ever in the history of the Ballon d'Or is too much coincidence I guess.

Ancelotti and the Portuguese FA did. CR hinted at it more subtly, but you get the point:
“This video shows clearly the respect and consideration that FIFA has for me, for my club and my country. Much is explained now. I wish Mr. Blatter health and a long life, with the certainty that he'll continue to witness the successes of his favourite teams and players“. His idea to boycot the ceremony speaks for itself.
Ancelotti said he would “stage a sit in“ if CR does not win it, and someone from the Portuguese FA said Blatter's remarks explain why CR has only won one Ballon d'Or.

Liked Ronaldo wishing a long and healthy life to Bladder. The old fart must have gotten a cold sweat from this.
My feeling is that Messi is not a saint, he's just a decent guy who rarely loses control, he's being smart and yes sometimes deceptive with his attitude, Ronaldo on the the other hand is more genuine and impulsive, and definitely more so because he is in Messi's shadows and everyone knows it.
I don't think either are bad persons, a lot of Ronaldo's criticism comes from his on the pitch ridiculously serious antics which he half acknowledged in interviews.
Considering their achievements, i don't think any of them have negative behavior issues, although Ronaldo just can't admit that Messi is simply better. But how could he ?
