And he's not, pure artists are guys like Zidane/Pirlo, Messi is a more a cross-breed speed demon/artist, he's not as reliant on his speed as pure speed demons nor is he as artistic as the slower, more elegant players.

No matter how you word it, it is just crazy. Messi is as elegant as they come when he slows down his play. I understood what you meant about the midfield maestros like Pirlo and Zidane and Iniesta and I agreed there but it is just ludicrous to suggest that Messi is not a top footballing artist. He has magic touch and class to his game, but with a short, rigid frame. That's the only difference.

I feel the same way about people here sometimes(not necessarily about Barca topics either), but it doesn't matter. And people think cause I don't agree with everything pro-Barca that I'm trolling.

My wanting Ronaldo to sham the award isn't in any way, shape or form a trolling attempt. That's just how I feel because I feel he deserved one of the last 4 Ballon d'Ors(like I said in another post, I'm being an ass about it cause he probably doesn't deserve it this year, but this year's is hard to pick), there's nothing more to it. I've explained it on more than on occasion too to so I won't again, I'm leaving at that because for the past bunch of posts I've made I'm not trying to troll anybody.

I'm not denying Messi is the best player in the world and that he has artistry to his game, but like I said, due to his general playing style he doesn't come off as a pure artist me, but I'm also not saying speedy guys cannot be artists at all. It doesn't matter if I'm the only person in the world who thinks it either, that's just me, and you can all think I'm stupid for it, that's fine! It's not like I'm genuinely trying to convince people to think my way or anything, it's just a healthy discussion of opposing thoughts.
