For the record, I don't hate him. CR7 is a great player, one of the greatest, I just don't like him.

Would it be correct in saying that CR's current excellent form would, read SHOULD in the most technical form of the award's criteria, propel him with votes for not this upcoming Balon D'Or but NEXT years Balon D'Or??? There is kind of a gray area leading up to January as to how relevant September-December action becomes, at least from what I've witnessed and with the new 're-opened polls' it just makes what was already confusing even more sketchy.
