What is confusing? Any player who doesn't aspire to win the Ballon d'Or especially someone as talented as Ronaldo will end up as Quaresma. So he says he isn't obsessed about it but he is very motivated to win it, to me it makes sense in that he is trying to be the best in the world. It is natural for a competitor and an athlete.
