I'm not denying that he doesn't take on a large number of shots, he definitely does. It doesn't mean that he isn't a good finisher though.

It just means he is selfish and takes every half chance as an opportunity to pad the stats. However one on one would you bet on him missing? despite that conversion rate he is a quality finisher with great positioning, just plays for himself and takes way too many shots, especially in games like today when the bal isnt going in, het gets more frustrated and more selfish looking for the goal.

What is really embarassing was fifa reopening the votes, for the first time ever, so he would win it... If he had won it without this, I'd congratulate him.

Come on Flavia man, don't join the conspiracy theorists. It's just as bad as the Madrid conspiracy theorists saying that Messi only wins because of Blatter. Don't go down to their level.
It's not a conspiracy theory. I know you defend CR all you can, but there was no legitimate reason to reopen the BD voting. The turnout, which they claim was the reason, wasn't much lower than last year's, and even if it were, that does not explain why they allow people to change their votes and even suggest doing it.
At 7pm on that day, Blatter tweeted about the voting, said "everyone voted, I didn't". Nothing about a deadline extension. At 11.30pm, just half an hour or something after the play-offs, they suddenly announce the voting is reopened. It's as obvious as it gets, and this has nothing to do with Messi-friendly conspiracy theories, as it is also people like Ribery and Ibrahimovic who get disadvantages thanks to that.

Which conspiracy? The votes were reopened for the first time ever. There's no conspiracy, just corruption. If it was the other way around, we would never hear the end of it. But that will thankfully never happen, Barça doesn't have the power rm does.
And after watching what fifa is doing to my country, those kind of moves are really not surprising anymore, if I had any doubts.
