It was kinda pathetic seeing him cry. Its not like he hasnt won it before plus its not as if he won CL or world cup.

Well next year normal service will resume. Messi will win and Ronaldo will still be crying :lol:

It obviously meant a lot to him and no one can blame him for that. After coming 2nd for 4 consecutive years(and prob in the future as well :p ), he finally won it.

Him winning it doesnt change much how the Messi vs Ronaldo debate is viewed in the grand scheme of things.

Cannot say I was surprised by the result, the campaign by Madrid to get cr7 his trophy was quite impressive, from next year the balon`dor will not be decided by who is the best player but instead by who has the best election campaign team, with Madrid s epic showing this year they are bound to be favourites for next year to ensure their man will win it again
