The media favoured Ribery more, the coaches and players favoured Ronaldo. Like I said in the Messi thread, if the award was still split Ribery would have won the Ballon D'Or and Ronaldo would have won FIFA WPOTY.

Yeah thats exactly what I'm saying. Cr got lots of 2nds and decent amount of 1sts from the media. Ie lots of points. And all those 1sts and 2nds for FR meant less points for LM.

I still think too many people were easily blinded by that 1 swe game, but hey, nbd.
