Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Lemon curry?
Are we having this debate everytime CR scores now? These past few games, CR has been better. In the games before that, Messi was. Nothing to see here.

And if you'd ask people here, they would say that ronaldo's conversion rate is far below messi but they are close. The fact is that ronaldo takes a lot of shots from long range which most of the times hit the target and get saved by GKs. Him doing that and being slightly behind messi in accuracy is impressive. Again your statistic is not helping your point. For the fewer wild shots messi takes he should be a lot higher than 18% that is disappointing

Disappointing? Go idolize and support those who have better conversion rates And their teams. We are Barca, sorry we failed your taste.

Just because we are fans that doesnt mean we should be blond to the fact that our best player has regressed greatly and his rival has caught up with him unfortunately

Caught up with him? Scoring-wise? Overall-wise?

Who has better conversion rates, out of curiosity?

Don't know about catching up with Messi, Messi has been plagued with injury near the end of last season and for a while during this season so to claim he has regressed dramtically is a tad melodramatic I feel.

Exactly, that is how he has been caught up, even now cr7 is playing better than messi and messi has had how many games 15 to get into form? Ask anybody who is neutral, in terms of abilities messi may be the best but in terms of performance at the moment ibra, suarez and cr7 are ahead of him, you should watch other teams too and not base your assumptions on highlights and hatred for other teams

Ronaldo has never been about conversion rates, because he takes so many long distance shots trying to score and even so messi is slightly ahead by 2%, so with all his long shots his accuracy is not even bad. Scoring wise check again who is the top scorer of both the league and uefa. And ofcourse you say messi was injured, then why did he keep playing when he felt it niggling in his hamstrings.
I am a barca fan and i choose to see the reality instead of warrantying poor performances just because the player used to be excellent some seasons back!

He finished 4% behind CR. Without the deadline extension, it might have been close.

He finished 4% behind CR in a year he won La Liga with Barcelona. If we end up with nothing this season and Real goes on to win the domestic double (which can very well happen), things are not looking good for Messi, especially if he doesn't go far with Argentina in the World Cup.

Man, it's not that much about numbers, as it's more about the impression he makes. Messi is struggling. I haven't seen him miss so many passes or being dispossessed so many times in god knows how long.

I was talking about Ribery.

Yeah I suggest next time you keep your assumptions about the games and teams I follow to yourself as you could not be more wrong. at the moment these guys maybe performing close to their peaks whilst same cannot be said about Messi, but if you think Messi a player who is still only 26 has now declined than yeah I will call such reactions dramatic.
