Calma, calma
What's the rule on goalkeepers coming off the line for penalties? For Ronaldo's saved penalty, the goalie took two steps forward before saving it. Is that allowed? Also, there were 4 Ludogorets' players in the box when he took his penalty.

It's not allowed but the refs are very lenient about it because barely anyone ever complains; same goes for players running into the box. In the penalty shoot out that Ludogorets won in the qualifying rounds, their GK did the same thing at virtually every penalty, and nothing happened.

But is he injured?

man its a rule, when u are really injured u dont role around on the ground like
being struck by a truck, when u are really injured u dont move cause u are scared
by moving you will make your injury worse. so for sure he is not injured

It happens so much that I don't even know if the refs know if it's allowed or not.

It was a dive for me. Delighted Ronaldo only got 1 goal though, a hat trick for Messi vs Ajax for the record. BTW did he celebrate to suggest he has 70 goals? No way anyone count his play off goal for United towards Rauls record, the likes of Sky Sports are all reporting him as having 69 goals.

Would like to see an in depth comparison of his goals in the CL vs Messi's. Messi has scored a fair share of penalties too but Ronaldo seems to always get penalties and goals in meaningless matches/late in already won matches.

I recently did some research on their goals and they both have pretty identical records when it comes to important goals ad stat padding goals. I don't have stats for just the CL though and I also don't have stats which exclude penalties.

It's illegal but it happens all the time. Keepers often take the chance and get away with it.

Have a look at page 9 and 10.

Messi is pretty much even or close to all of Ronaldo's career stats despite being 2 and a half years younger. A lot of people forget the age gap. Barring injury, Messi will surpass all of Ronaldos stats eventually.
