This season he isn't. Not even this whole year, as they scored about the same amount of goals. But Messi is also assisting at a crazy rate.
Kinda shallow to judge just based on goals scored.

Scoring is easy when you have players like Kroos,Modric,Benzema,Bale,Marcelo,Isco,James setting you up, Leo only has Neymar and Iniesta sometimes. I watched the Liverpool game and when Real players were in the box, first thing they do is pass to Ronaldo. Liverpool players saw that through and done, Lovren almost got the ball away too in Ronaldo's first goal. Ronaldo also isn't marked that tight as Leo is. Ronaldo is nowhere near the player Leo is, Leo is more complete, Ronaldo is more like a poacher, Leo playmaker.

Statistically they are more or less the same, Messi with more assist and Ronaldo with sligthly more goals. However, Ronaldo has the trophies, wc final wont be enough imo. Of course, im Real Madrid-supporter so i might be biased, but as of now, i think Ronaldo is a worthy winner.

As great as they are, i think both get alot for free. Nothing to complain about, from either side in general.Ronaldo is the man everyone look for in front of goal, Messi the same, though he is more capable of creating himself. They both play in world class teams, the teamates gives both of them excellent working conditions. No doubt though, they are all time greats, Messi at his best, perhaps goat.

I totally disagree, Messi is playing better overall than Ronaldo. Take away Ronaldo's penalties and the goal difference is not so great. Messi has over 4 times as many assists as him and 2 times as many chances created. Messi imo is easily better than him right now but everyone just sees goals.

I don't mind players having a bad day, being sloppy, messing something up. It happens. But Ronaldo pisses me the fuck off. Every game, every fucking game, at least once- he'll mess something up, be it a pass, a trick or his most common; playing a ball without looking- and then he'll point at a teammate after in a really condescending way- as if to say 'ffs you messed that up, you were meant to [whatever-it-is]' all to save his own embarrassment and keep people from thinking he messed up.

Its so disrespectful to his colleagues who continuously set things on a plate for him, get taken off when on a hattrick rather than him, work so hard etc. And he does that. And he does it A LOT.

He was desperate to assist. He wanted a goal and assist to make a point. He was horrendous.

And ps- the ballon d'or is his. Don't ask me how I know, but I do. It's his/ It's all sorted/
