Shocking he was actually unselfish tonight. Messed up some counters but he definitely could have scored more as well but passed it.

Shocking? ballon d'Or voting coming up- he's scoring more but people are talking about Messi's amazing playmaking and assisting?
years gone by after Leo scores an amazing dribble, or amazing strike, or gets a hattrick, the RM game after we all used to laugh as CR would go crazy trying to out do him- if Messi scored a dribble goal, CR would try and dribble players 2-3 times, if Leo scored a great shot, CR would be shooting 10 times from outside the box.
And now that its Leos assisting we are praising- you're surprised that after he got his goal he was trying to get an assist down?
Apparently diving is totally acceptable when he does it haven't you heard?

He was as bad as messi we can even go a distance and say he was worse and because of his pen and real win he will have an edge over messi. CR7 will defo win ballon d'or i am sure of it. Pens won't stop and he punishes all small teams with the help of his in form team mates who are very keen to feed him unlike in barca where messi is creating chances.

Its such an inaccurate representation of the difference between them. Look at Leo 08-12. We will never see anything like that again. Not just stats; his touch, control, passing, vision, dribbling, interplay.. it was mindblowing and theres never been anything like it. Ronaldo is a 1/100th of it in his dreams.

Yep. Game over for Messi I think. The voting started today and the Clasico win for RM will definitely play on the mind of the voters.

The debate will now turn to whether or not Messi will make the top 3. Could see Vela overtaking him 
I think he'll gonna win it, but I doubt the clásico will have played any role in this. Ronaldo's performance was too poor and was too much perceived as being poor in the media I've read/seen to make any difference. So if Messi was in with a chance before this game, he still has one. CR is the clear favourite because of the CL record, la décima and his scoring record this year, but how both fare in the next few weeks (LL record? CL all-time record? etc) will probably be more decisive than this game where both didn't stand out at all.
