Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Every team has to play against 12 men if they are playing against real. Bad calls are okay but what the fuck does it mean if you chose what to include in the report and what not. Same happened in that bottle incident where messi got yellow for complaining. Simeone got 8 match ban for just touching the ref while Ronaldo only 2 while doing it 4th time. Not saying simeone should not be banned but still... How can you explain such things. And it is so convenient that Ronaldo is back for atletico game. On what basis did they give 2 match ban. If it is normal red 1 match ban and if it is violent conduct it is 3 match.

Speaking of pushing refs, Neymar should have gotten a ban for it quite recently, but no fuss about that. Guess that doesnt fit into your world of conspiracy.

Refs in La Liga are shit in general. I've seen calls go against Real and against us. I've also seen us benefit from the refs as well as CR.

But this is some BS lmao. 2 games is a joke..

When did a player get a ban for pushing a ref? Arda turan fucking threw a shoe at linesman but yellow is the enough if it is with some very bad intent then maybe a red. Don't try to make some point just for the sake of it.

Even when he is CLEARLY in the wrong after acting like that, he walks off the pitch antagonizing the opposing fans with a cocky gesture. The guy is a fucking cunt; he makes me angry to the point I have to curse on an internet forum. I simply can't stand him.

That's the thing. He was showing off his Club World Cup badge and being extremely cocky walking off the pitch, he showed no remorse at all. Yet he quickly apologized on social media, something that was cited in RFEF's decision to let him off the hook so easily.

The guy SHOWED NO REMORSE whatsoever, that apology was just a PR stunt and a ploy to make him look apologetic in order to reduce the ban. And those stupid RFEF officials are as blind as a bat.

Tbf, in the heat of the moment, few players shows remorse then and there, usually takes a bit of time to clear the mind.

you really think CR posted the apology himself? I believe he has a highly paid PR team for that no?

We are trying to win a league where people are doing everything in their power to prevent us from winning. The lfp isn't happy that it's been three years since their last win and even Atletico won before them.

Remember their 2012 season involved a lot of cheating aswell. They haven't won a legit liga since 2008.

"Entonces, hay muchos árbitros que son del Real Madrid y la mayoría son del Real Madrid", explicó Iturralde.

Guess you missed this part.

I'm not missing anything and yet you're the one that completely omits him saying it's to do with Barcelona too from the same interview... Have you listened to the whole thing? This is basically him being a bit of a bitter Basque saying most officials are FROM cities where top and most popular teams are. Which fair enough, he has the right to be bitter. He doesn't say anything beyond that and even goes on to defend them by saying they are professionals. But no, apparently he said "most side with Madrid" (which he didn't) and nothing else *sigh* Of course the popularity of top teams has a mental effect on the referees. They're going to feel more pressure when giving a penalty in crunch time at Bernabeu or Camp Nou. That said, there are refs who are and who are not pussies. Those who will write things in the book and those who will not call a penalty outside the box, as opposed to others who will not push the player away Collina-style. Football is just a game of wimps nowadays and the refs are some of the biggest ones out there.

And my opinion is not based on twitter, or marca, or md. I follow la liga for a very long time. Over 10 years. Enough to realize what goes on in there. And it's always the same.

So what are they based on? Do you only watch games and make your opinions up in the heat of the moment or reanalyse them here by making up lists? They have to be based on something and since the sources you provide are include the papers you seem to dismiss... Any substance to that or are you gonna take a high horse stance "I've been here long enough to know everything"?

And again, you missed the point ENTIRELY. I don't care about the mvp award. But the fact it was created by lfp to please a rm player is very telling. In what world would they do that for a Barça player.

So you don't care, and no one else should, and yet you use it to judge something? They can make any Mickey Mouse award like "The best left footed player in the league" and I guarantee some people on this forum would put a few of " :worthy: " in a certain thread if he was awarded it.

And hey, I've never hid away from expressing my feelings towards this lovely moderating body, so yeah  Feelings are opinions too after all. I can have the right to voice one, whether it is or it's not against the rules.

The majority of lfp refs being madridistas is nothing? Every claim from anyone or anywhere pointing out the obvious favouring are followed by madridistas saying it's baseless or bitter. Very funny.

What good will it make to show you lists? You'll say they're baseless and bitter. But I'm not based only in the heat of the moment. This league is pretty much like the last one rm won, with the refs, lfp and rfef doing all they can to help rm stay at the top. Including giving lots of irregular penalties, so you can win the games. It's like that since franco's time. He died, but the favouring still lives on.

So you don't care, and no one else should, and yet you use it to judge something? They can make any Mickey Mouse award like "The best left footed player in the league" and I guarantee some people on this forum would put a few of " :worthy: " in a certain thread if he was awarded it.

And yet again you divert from the real issue
Or maybe you still haven't understood.

The lfp would never make up such award for Messi. He plays for Barça. If he played for rm, he'd probably have one of those, though. Guess it's too hard for you madridista based brain to comprehend. Making up an award to please the star from the capital club is nothing... all the double standards and favourable calls from lfp is nothing, the lfp president being openly a madridista is nothing, the media circus and the all the shitstorm that comes from the capital is also nothing. Makes sense, since you support such a dirty club, that you see nothing wrong :)

yea, CRonaldo's MVP award is the one thing that made me realize there was something really wrong and deep-rooted in spanish football.

I was almost as surprised when I saw how little controversy this trophy spawned. Trophy created out of the blue because Messi had won both best forward and best liga player ? No biggie
I mean wtf.

And then next year the trophy suddenly disappears and no one cares to remember. Why ? Because Messi isn't even in "best forward top 3" anymore, as mighty Carlos Vela had a superior season.

Seems legit

It's impressive how this was swept under the carpet. I really can't recall any media outlet picking up on this.

The point is there'll never be an award like this... They please Cristiano with these ridiculous award while it's the other way around with Messi.

Leo don't need any silly awards like those though, he don't care. He's the best in the world even if he doesn't win anything and proves that time and time again on weekly basis.
