Ronaldo was 6 ft , Dihno about 5ft 11. Cristiano is about 6ft 1 inch.

The first 2 were amazing dribblers, having a lower centre of gravity helps but Cristiano just simply isn't a great dribbler, he was better before but never great and he's very average now.

Im not even trying to make a point that Ronaldo is a great dribbler, or that he would be the best dribbler in the world if only he was shorter. Its just that people here doesnt seem to understand that dribbling, agility and height are quite closely related. Compare Ronaldos dribbling to the brazilian one/Zidane makes more sense, not with midgets like Iniesta and Messi. Zidane and brazilian Ronaldo are about the same height as Cristiano, and there is little doubt they were better dribblers. Dont think they can compare to the best midgets though, for a reason.

Brazilian Ronaldo can't compare to he best? I'd say after Maradona and Messi he was the close to the best. One of the best dribblers the world has ever seen.

They are close. Maradona and Messi may have better close control, but I've never seen any player combine skill with power and pace like Ronaldo.

He was insane during his days in Barcelona and early years with Inter .I hope you aren't making this judgement based on his time with RM
Ronaldo career looked like 4 phases .the Pre 1998 WC days which was actually his best ,the dark times between the 1998&2002 World Cups .he rarely played and the 1st 3 years with RM and then the twilight year of his career .such an unorthodox career he had

Well you might want to accept it and not take issue as it's widely used, others say fat Ronaldo, Brazilian Ronaldo etc

I don't think that's correct. They can be as good as the shorter players. Raed's post last page is spot on.

You cant argue with the laws of physics, it will always be easier to excel at dribbling if you are short rather than tall. Of course, not all players have the same natural talent for it, be it short or tall. Im not disregarding that.
