Calma, calma

lol. What has he done lately? Not to rib on you, but I wouldn't expect any different from most of the members here anyway. A good game vs Levante and he's the best player in the world. Ronaldo scores in 7 consecutive Clasicos and has 6! goals vs Barcelona this season, yet people here say Iniesta is the 2nd best player in the world. And these are the same fans that value consistency over all else.

He is always scores against us now. Is it like 6 or 7 in a row now? Real's MOTM today. I miss the old days when CR7 used to flop against Barca:(

Varane prevented us from losing the last game and gave us a point, but Cristiano.. he's made a habit of scoring against this Barcelona.. a feat only an all time great would be able to achieve. Impact of either man should not be understated.

7 goals in 6 consecutive games at Camp Nou.. 12 goals in 8-odd matches. Tied Santillana and chasing Gento on the Clasico scoring lists for RM.

What more to say?

Not to take away from Ronaldo but you're talking about Barca not Maldini's milan. We are shit in defence and it's not looking like it's changing anytime soon.

He is scoring in you when you claimed to have the best defensive pair.. sometimes u blamed Pinto so he scored in Valdes than you blamed lack of Puyol , lack of Pique , lack of Mother Teresa .. now your defence is no good ? that "Bad defence " always had the best defensive stats... ;)

I'd like to make a few corrections to this sentence and it honestly is not based on any views I may have on Ronaldo for being a Madrid player, Cristiano Ronaldo is not really an all time great. he get close to them but doesnt make the list in any way.
An all time great doesn't need two and a half years to over come his fear of a team however big they may be. I dont intend to make this a messi ronaldo comparison but an all time great is one who carries his team at 20 and scores 3 against an all superstar team in high mental pressure and out shines them all. It is not hard to believe that if a player in mold of Kun or Falcao had the advantages that Ronaldo has, would have surpassed him by now. Much of Ronaldo's current rate of scoring against Barcelona comes from Barca's defensive fuck ups rather than Ronaldo's brilliance. we gift him space and shitty defending and an even shittier goal keeper, If he can not deliver in such situations he doesn't deserve to be in Real Madrid's starting 11.

consider every single point you said, it still does not mean we delivered an impeccable defending display in recent games.

Tito > Mou
some of us cules here are really acting like a bunch of kids and downplaying his stats..
he has been brilliant against us lately and definitely the best player so far in 2013..

Doesn't matter how you get there, he's got an average of goal per game with Real Madrid and 308 goals in around 500 appearances in his career. You can't deny him the legacy he has earned by making results happen regardless of Barcelona being on form or off.

Also, "an all time great is one who carries his team at 20 and scores 3 against an all superstar team in high mental pressure and out shines them all".. what? Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Filippo Inzaghi, Alessandro Del Piero, Raul.. where were they at 20 and where do they belong now if not on the Pantheon of all time greats?

As for Kun and Falcao, they are good but will not reach the status of legends. Maybe Falcao will in Colombia, because of lack of talent over the years, but not worldwide. Not like the others aforementioned. But Kun still has the time if he makes the right decisions and backs it up on the field. In the end it's completely up to the players if they're going to reach that level.
