All I see is a basketball under a dress
Does CR even get laid?

Will Ronaldo go? I asked you the same question at the beginning of the season and you replied in the affirmative. Has anything changed?

Barçapocalypse NOW!
Well, Florentino is a business man, and he is using Ronaldo's renewal as a means to get re-elected... Which begs two questions: 1. Why bother making such big promises when Florentino has no opposition whatsoever for RM presidency? And 2. Is Ronaldo triste because he is being used as part of a campaign, or is him into it?

Many things has changed in the club from the moral to Jose own approach to many players in the club even Crisitano who improved greatly thanks to his personal guru who is helping him on all levels

I don't know how far the changes will go , i also don't care much about what Florentino will say now as it's the election year and he is targeting Aguero or Bale for his re-election prime target
Obviously the situation before was no go for any more more money for Cristiano with the intention of cashing out on him however the poor showing for Benzema and half the season bad form for Higuain reshuffled the plan to bring a creator and keep the two 20 + striker
Now questions are raised about if we should keep both strikers or sell one and get Aguero or someone like Cavani etc
Ronaldo guru helped him a lot since December where we saw him take games (tough ones ) by the horn and get the 3 points
from Barcelona to United to Galatasary these are all defining games for the season and Cristiano made a huge impact on all of them so will this guru influence extend to CR feeling self healed and satisfied or we will see the earlier this season trista persona that remains to be seen and how far Perez is willing to go
it's no secret we virtually pay nothing for CR annually as we cash in on half of his earnings (like we do with all the players before & until now ) but now we have the tax factor after Beckham law and CR old desire to increase his share of the money he is making from Ads & sponsors to 70-30 % but nothing will be decided now .. also winning the Cl will be a big factor in both the club & CR decision to go or stay
earlier it appeared the team is on self destruct mood but since January they picked themselves up and rallied to turn the season into a success and for a club like Real the success always will be the champions league not the Copa (of course the league is important but the Decima the dream of every year has a different taste )
winning the Champions league would make all CR demands affordable and Perez will go the extra mile to keep him and Perez can be very persuasive unless CR is really determined to leave .. losing it (the CL )makes all option up for grabs

Calma, calma
He's become much more of a team player this season, and we've also seen a little bit more of the Man Utd Ronaldo this season.

And he has come up with clutch goals and performances in every single match that mattered (after the initial blip that lost them La Liga). If he comes up with similar stuff in the remaining games and wins the CL, I wouldn't at all find it unfair if he wins the Ballon D'Or.

I agree. While Messi will likely always put up better numbers (goals+asisists) than Ronaldo a CL and Copa del Rey would seal it for Ronaldo. He's really stepped up this season.

You observe correctly. He's giving much more to the team and tracking back more often. I haven't seen him put this much effort into helping out Marcelo/Coentrao since we signed him. On top of that he's been delivering all season long and covered Higuain and Benzema's lack of form. Besides the United second leg, I don't remember a single match where I was disappointed by his overall performance.

For next season, if he stays this motivated and keeps giving his best I would keep him. Yes I'd like us to apply a more organized system in our play which would work better without Ronaldo but I'd still keep him and keep this style albeit with some improvements in certain areas. As long as there's no "triste" drama.

And it's too early to talk about the Ballon d'Or. I thought Ronaldo deserved it more than Messi around July/August last year, but Messi's performance in the second half of the year and records broken tipped it in his favor. And we're still in April, anything can happen between now and the end of the year.

I really hope he stays and retires at RM. Can see him moving to the 'flavour of the month' football country when he's 34/5 though.
