After both he and Messi retire everybody will call him the guy that could be probably the greatest player of his generation but was always the no. 2 because of this damn pulga. Compare him to whoever you want. Messi is uncomparable.
In terms of talent, Messi is clearly a step above. However, its hard to say a guy with 2 ballon dors, probably up for his third, was always the no. 2.

Ronaldo is not better than Messi, even the current version of Messi is better, but not by much as previous years. Ronaldo is scoring lots of goals, that's great, but Messi is winning us games by assisting his peers. i'd rather have a Magic Johnson than an Allen Iverson.
Ronaldo will probably win the award because his having a great season so far and won La Decima which was really important, but at the end of the day anyone who knows about the game knows Messi is better, simple as that.

Messi will definitely overcome cr7 in every thing. He will reach so far his records will not be broken for a long long time. I am just saying about this season.

2 more years based on what? Based on their play Messi looks older and less interested, Ronaldo is so fit he will probably continue scoring till he is 38. I can see Messi quitting football before 35 cause his heart isnt into it anymore.
Physical attributes decline first: speed, stamini, agility etc. Technique and strength stay, you could see it in a player like Henry for example after 29.
Ronaldo is nearly 30 yet is exactly the same if not better, he wont decline before Messi, will continue to be a quality poacher and outscore Messi in the long run.
Not that it matters much though.

Nah.... I don't think so. Messi will definitely outscore ronaldo in the long run. With his current situation he can definitely achieve it. Currently messi is just 35 goals apart i think. I still think messi can catch up to cr7 in number of goals this season. It will be close if not scoring more.
