What I really like about this video though is the first song. I couldn't find out what it was called even after googling the lyrics, there appears to be no credit in the video and I refuse to read comments licking his arse that might mention the music. So I just downloaded the mp3 of the video and am playing it through VLC player.

He's nowhere near those players in flair. I am simply saying that THAT version of C Ronaldo was fairly entertaining (nowhere near those players' levels) but far more entertaining than his later self.
I always find it hard to watch CR7 pre 2007 in Utd shirt. Yes, these period was his best dribbling wise. But his tricks were mostly useless and not aesthetic at all (move like a robot really).
His best was 2009/10 imo. He managed to combine well between his trick and his goal. Then turned into a pure goalscorer when Mourinho took over.

Yeah I would agree. I think 06/07 was a bit of an outlier for his six seasons at United, because he did take on more playmaking duties there and was good at it to a point.
Like you say, his best amalgamation between end product and entertainment/flair/tricks was likely his first year at Real Madrid. I thought he had a bit more of it in Mourinho's first two years too, but you are saying he became a pure goalscorer so my mind might be playing tricks on me. I didn't think he really dropped all the flair til Ancelotti entered.

So true, people are overrating his dribbling skills pre-Spain and you usually see the same few clips thrown with some useless tricks that have no result
Meanwhile the OG Ronaldo has dozens of actions similar to these that lead to a goal

The basic problem with the KL group (especially KL, no front) is that they dont have consistency in their logic. If it's Messi they will find an excuse for everything and if the player is not Messi they will attack him even if its unfairy. EV was the best example, guy got hate without an end from the group and every win from him was luck🤣 I always say facts over feeling but they have feelings over facts.
