Smart yellow card to get a suspension for Bilbao. Another relentless game but also another of lower Dani-Alves-Quality.

Alves game face is a must. Non-stop pressure on Arsha or whoever and clean passing to the middle. Pivotal that he shuts them down in the clutch.

His energy and support was good as always but his distribution was pathetic yesterday. He produced about one good cross all night and gave the ball away all over the park. Really frustrating game.

his crosses have been bad lately not just the Arsenal game but his energy is always there, he just needs to improve his crosses

anyways, here is the whole Alves interview

"We are far better than Arsenal"
Barcelona's Dani Alves believes that Arsenal need a miracle to beat his team and progress to the Champions League semis.
Arsenal mounted an improbable comeback against Barcelona at the Emirates last Wedensday to secure a 2-2 draw but most pundits still consider the Spanish giants to be overwhelming favourites to go through.
Alves agrees with them.
In comments reported by the Daily Mail, the defender said: "I have never played in a team that has created so many chances so early in a game. Only Almunia and a lot of luck spared Arsenal."
"We put on an exhibition and it is amazing to think that we drew the match. The final result left us feeling sore but we know the difference between us and them is huge and we are ready to confirm that in the second game."
"Nothing has been decided but Arsenal need a big miracle to get to the semi-finals."
Both sides have been hit by some crucial injuries and suspensions going into the game. The Gunners will be missing captain Cesc Fabregas, forward Andrey Arshavin and defender William Gallas - in addition to long term absentees like Robin van Persie.
Barcelona will be minus the services of their first choice central defensive pairing of Carlos Puyol and Gerard Piquet - both through suspension. In addition - in-form striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to miss out due to injury.
However, Alves is confident the Catalans will be better able to cope with the absences.
"Fabregas is a massive player for Arsenal and his absence could be decisive," said the right-back.
"Arshavin not playing will seriously damage their attacking options. It's a big problem for Wenger but a possible advantage for us."
"Both squads will be suffering from players not being available but I believe our squad will overcome these problems much more easily."
"It's a huge week for this club, we have to finish this match and then face Real Madrid [in La Liga on Sunday, April 11]."
"If we beat Arsenal I believe we will find it easier to strike a major blow in the race for the championship."

Thought he gave the ball away far too much, just like the 1st leg. Hope he picks it up for the Clasico.
