I was certain that Maicon was better but Alves has a brilliant case to prove his point. However, shame implies that he is missing out for a much inferior player, however Maicon is a very good player and more fitting of Dunga's tactical plans.

Although I remember seeing them play one match where one of them was LM and the other RB. Looked exotic.
