Daniel Alves

They are alike in how they both like to stand out and open their mouth far more than they should. On the field, as I said, they aren't similar.

Pique is more of a "it is all fun" type of guy who is actually smart man of the pitch.
A bit provocative at times, nut for me he is rarely stupid.
Alves is more of confrontational "say it as it is "who lacks a lot in the communication ability.

Yea, but that's not looking at the reference point. The reference point for my comment is both feel the need to stand out in situations where minding your business is the smartest choice.

I don't like either off the pitch IMO, I don't like Pique on the pitch either . They just talk too much in matters where they don't have anything interesting to say. Especially Pique.

Neither is stupid per se, just attention-seekers while not being particularly insightful. Pique would make a terrible president IMO.

But don't mind me, I probably don't like footballers off the pitch in general.

Alves and Pique both like to talk too much,

Alves is as dumb as a lobotomised rock though, whereas Pique is quite intelligent. Still talks more than he should.

Let's see how many games before people start shitting on him for being too old. Won't take long I'd imagine.

This guy can only surprise me positively, I have no expectations from him honestly.

And I could only be negatively surprised, I expect him to play like the best RB in the world. He would be a great signing even if he is far from it, but he looked like he was in the game against Boca... Let's see!

He is obviously too old for top level but I think he will do well Vs bottom teams in LaLiga. Similar to Suarez. Lack of speed would expose him at top level game.

I've got to admit, he's calm, composed, and has good crosses. His main challenge may be pace due to age, but you can see the difference he offers going forward compared to Dest

Alves: ?Today I had a role that was in between a full-back and a midfielder, filling spaces, it is a position that I dominate, having such quality players by my side makes things easier.?

Alves is dumb as a box of frogs at times and thinks folk believe anything he says.

Reality is he struggled today in that position as legs were not there. Needs to hope that is rustiness and not his physical level.
