Daniel Alves

I was negatively surprised today, but I think it was mostly because of lack of motivation (unconsciously probably) by Alves as well as the entirety of the team.
He did show some of his brilliance in the last 10 minutes of the game, when half of the Linares players had given up in every sequence, but the other half still tried. Had for example Dest played instead of Alves, I think it'd be enough for Linares to equalize again. They almost did anyway, but Alves was pretty important.

Only watched the highlights but saw how he was spraying those long range passes/crosses. We really missed someone with the guts to play them

His crosses were missed since Messi left, but other than that he was sloppy and not in the best shape of his career understandably due to lack of playing time.

Reading a lot of hate about him online. Yes he's old, but fact remains he's the best RB (maybe together with Lahm) in the last 20 years. He's the most decorated player ever, he's a winner and he loves Barcelona. We need someone like him on our team

I just hope he doesn't start spreading toxicity when he doesn't get enough play-time, other than that he is more than welcome to help the squad.

You see what happens when a rb just play the ball on the right time. One touch to control and then play. The midfielders are getting much more time because of that. No flicks with too hard or too soft balls. Just simple and very good. When its really needed you see a fantastic cross what he also have in his locker

Great on ball and looks old in defence when trying to keep up or hold position.

It is another position that is being tailored for older legs.

Have it at DM and CB and now RB and contributes to the drop in second half today.

Great game on ball though and coupld good late challenges.
