I didn't fancy him. Neither would I take Carvajal. And Bellerin sucks imo - 2-3 flashy moves per game and than he keeps screwing up for the rest of the time.

¡Gr?*cies Xavi!
How about this guy? I think someone on here mentioned him before, and he reminds me of Alves. I've never seen him play, but someone who watches Brazilian football might give us some more insight about Mayke.

Your standards are certainly quite high if you wouldn't even take Carvajal. :p Guy has been superb since moving to Real.

The lack of truly world class RB atm is quite remarkable tho. Alves is past his prime obviously and Lahm doesn't play there anymore. Carvajal is pretty much the best right back in the world right now.

to all who says we're going overboard just remember this is the same fucking board that lied to us for 5 years saying they were getting us a Cb then poof! here's a shiny new puyol our new signing.

paid 17 mil for song who was signed as a centerback. 17 mil for a vermaelen to assist the doctors in practising their trade and 20 mil for an aging mathieu whose not a top central defender. 0 future planning. this is too heavy on the heart

Not for me. Carvajal is decent but nothing special.

Not even sure he should be Spains starter ahead of Juanfran.

Danilo will be better for them than he is.

Maybe its just me but hasn't Carvajal been a bit average this year? Maybe its because he has no competition but he hasn't been as impressive as he was last season to me. Of course he has had some good games this season and he is still young but maybe Madrid don't see him as their RB of the future or want someone to compete with him.

Also they may see Danilo as a good partner for Bale on the right side. Fact is he has struggled tremendously this season and they may see buying Danilo as a good way to get the best out of him. Kind of like how Alves and Messi.

Jesus does these same things have to get brought up every day?? Everyone knows this already, apart from it being 4 years without a CB from the board.

In what way is that relevant to Real Madrid signing Danilo?

He certainly doesnt have enough experience to take over the RB starting spot

If I were on our board, I'd say we look into Mayke. Also Brazilian and is rumored to be on his way to Portugal this summer. We could buy him in the summer and have him train with us but not play him until the transfer ban is over. Or just loan him to Cruziero.

The lack of WC RB's is quite remarkable, I agree. That's why we shouldn't hesitate for much longer to sign up Alves on a 2-year deal. If we add the transfer ban on top of that, we should sign the papers tonight. Until next summer we have the time to find somebody new even if it'll be hard.

That would be great,, but is he good enough to start for us and link up with Messi on the right wing?
