It would be typical of both clubs if Bayern sells Lewa for big money to us and buy Darwin. They get another striker for the next 10 years with our money and Barca is stuck with has been Lewa. That would be Barto's move, hope Laporta is smarter.

I see the appeal, but I am pretty unsure about him. Before we spend 80m on him I would rather go the Kounde/de Ligt/Raphina/Haaland route, all players I am more convinced about. Given we have the money for a prestige transfer.

Auba is a compliment. He's had a good career but with a bit more determination he could have done more. His move to Arsenal backfired.

Intensity wise young Auba would be good.

Haaland is finished now, mate. Nunez is our new favourite.

70m is definitely expensive and a huge risk.

Baked into that price is 20-25m of hype alone, hype that emerged very recently.

I'm done with expensive high risk transfers. If our scouts and analysts sit down and watch all his games from the past 3 years and deem it worth to spend 70m, then I'm on board.

What I don't like is buying a hyped player due to 1 good season.

Lewy is asking Bayern for 30 million.


The length of the contract is the sticking point apparently not the salary hike.

No way is he taking a pay cut to join Barca. Jist doesn't make any sense for his career.

Laporta has said we aren't capable of signing either Halaand or Mbappe few weeks ago though.
Lewa rumours seems like a way to keep the club in the press machine, something that Laporta appreciate it seems.
Barca needs to be linked to star players, for whatever reasons.
Starting to think we have already made our big attacking singing with Torres, and will be only there if market opportunity present itself (like Leeds getting relegated, and Raphinha became cheap)

I've read PSG are very keen to buy Nunez for 70m and have their forward trio as Neymar-Nunez-Messi next season. If he goes to PSG it will be interesting, Jorge Mendes will want autonomy and probably request a 3yr contract should he move to jail.
