Hilarious how some people started undermining Villa's career at Barca the moment he left the club. 
Villa has done for us more than Ibrahimovic, Fabregas, Sanchez, Afellay Cacers, Song, Adriano, Mascherano, etc (let's just say, better than almost everyone we have bought since 2008). And would've been even better if it wasn't for the damn injury.
Obvouisly, I will be called a Villa fanboy, even though I was using a Messi avatar before this one.

Agreed, except for reference to Macherano. Masch has been excellent for us.

I believe members here are smart and not judge on another based on their avatar or post count.
I think Villa did well for Barca. Good personality and professional as well.
Well, I recall people was did the same when he in his drought period (before he scored vs ManU in the CL final). Thats just normal when people expecting, but player not deliver, just usually periodical time. XD

With Atleti's style, he could definitely get between 20-25 goals this season.
He's not as past it as a few on here have made it out. What he's lost in a step in quickness and energy level he still retains with his deadly aim and timely runs to beat the offside trap.
Would have been great to see a trio of Neymar-Villa-Messi with rotation of Alexis Sanchez but the staff won't sell Pedro since he's a Masia graduate.

Sarcasm ? absolutely not.
I have never agreed to pay 40mio for a 29 y.o. player, a pure striker who had to play as winger, i would have kept Bojan, 21 y.o. with good potential.
I don't see a difference of 40mio between him and Bojan/Pedro/Sanchez (and these 3 are much younger than Villa).
My opinion. You don't agree ? no problem for me

Not so sure. Bojan to me never showed to be quality. Not once he broke into the 1st team anyway. There was a reason Pep never trusted him and the times we saw him play unfortunately showed why. Part of his problem was that Bojan would try too hard to be fancy instead of just keeping thing simple. That's that lack of maturity. And him and Pep never saw eye to eye because of that.
