He also likes to talk a lot and he's a known partyboy, you can see why the fatso hired him.

He got some renewals over the line, I'll give him that.

Yeah I never got why people take him siriously, probably they didn't know him as a player. He was always unprofessional drunk who Pep got rid of because he was a bad influence on Messi. Now he practictly runs the club lol.

In before we waste time in the summer with Nico. Flick has the team in the offense set. We even showed this season we can count on Ferran even in big games. The problem is the defense. We need to move on the market here.

Def could be doing with more pace and 1v1 ability up top.

None of them have top pace and only Yamal is 1v1 player.

When can stretch the pitch with more threat either side it makes it harder for opposition to put x3 on Yamal as did yesterday.

Also the depth up top is very thin.

Full back depth and a pacey 1v1 option up top be ideal as likes of Lewa going nowhere.

Maybe it's time to bring back Marc Cucurella home.

And hijack Trent-Arnold under Real Madrid's nose, the impossible scenario.

Cucurella cost too much and probably wouldnt want to be back up.

Grimaldo is the one being mentioned.. would help with delivery from the left and from set pieces when plays but another small player in team lacking in height and folk think a midfield of midgets is on the cards.

Your argument applies as well for Grimaldo. Why be a backup to Balde? Both him and Cucu are close in market value.

Whatever happens, there is no cemented LB position for Balde. There has to be competition for every position.

Grimaldo I think probably would be more willing.. getting back to Barca at 30 and step up from Leverkusen bigger than from EPL and Chelsea.. even if won league last year.

He doesnt have a Spain starting spot to lose either and has been quite vocal about returning.

The current system LB is the most physically demanding role and although a back up could easily start 15/20 games and come of the bench in near enough every other one.

I wonder if anyone watched Jorral Hato enough to give us insight?

He is fairly athletic CB/LB hybrid, has great aerial numbers and end product on offense. Seems like perfect for us tbh.
Then again, most likely out of our price range and will want somewhere to be a starter
