No he wasnt a reject but he was deemed to be struggling with the physicality of English football and not turning out to be the player they first thought he was.

He probably wouldnt fit in with this board. He excells at finding unproven bargains making them good and selling them on. Wereas our board just tries to go for the best players and pay top dollar

I still have faith in him, even with the limited playing time he always managed to produce moments of brilliance unlike some other, more "patient" players.

Edit: And his loan to Sevilla was never a good move anyway, no room for him in Emery's system. I guess the tactical discipline and defensive improvements are what we were going for, but still a silly move.
