We are playing more counter attacks now so I think he'd find enough space but I also believe he'll be useful against more defensive teams as well.

Except he's not good enough to start. And it's not definite that he is good enough to be first back-up anywhere except perhaps RW. But even there, Rafinha/Munir/Vidal/Roberto might be better.

I don't see the point in spending 15-20M on a FW, if we bring back Denis for 3M.

He doesn't have to be good enough to start every game. There is not a player in the world who could start over MSN and there are also not a lot of players who could start over Rakitic or Iniesta, not to mention Busquets.

Our best 11 for "big matches" is pretty much set right now in Lucho's mind and will probably also be the same for next season no matter who we bring in. But we play 55-60 games every season and most of the players will also play NT tournament (Euro, Copa or Olympics) in summer so Lucho will need to rotate even more to keep them all fresh during next season. Getting another solid and young squad player who can play 3 or 4 positions in midfield and attack is a no brainer.

MSN are going to Copa this summer... So they will struggle just like how they did when this season started! Lucho definitely could use fresh legs

Reason why Reus isn't here is because he wouldn't accept a backup role.
