Had another good game today. I was not watching it live but considering extended highlights and stats he did pretty well.

I watched them and he was good again indeed. He has the most assists in Europa this season, and even for Samu Castillejo's goal he whipped in the ball, took a slight touch off the defender, and Samu finished it, so it doesn't count as an assist, but he's obviously a part of it.
What's even more impressive is that with Dos Santos injury and Samu's rise in form, Denis has been playing RM a lot to accommodate them. Fluidity and ability to do the basics wherever you're playing is so important to be able to play here and he's proving it. If only Deulo could do the same.
He still looks like the perfect like-for-like swap for Iniesta to me, and his end product is even better. We'll obviously buy him back because, if nothing else, he can be sold for a lot more than what we'd pay. I really hope he's not a victim of circumstance in not getting a game here because of all our midfielders, because at the level he's been playing at and the consistency of it, we'd be absolutely mad not to give him a look in.

Was just wondering ,since it seem sure thin Denis will come back .how he is gonna be used here?
I mean while I am not his biggest fan ,he answered critics this season no doubt but I am still wondering about his fit .
This season ,he has played exclusively on the wings ,either RW/LW .but he doesn't look like a natural fit here in those positions .can't see him playing lin Messi/Neymar positions
He played AM b4 with Barca B & Sevilla .but doesn't look like a natural fit there for our current system
In other word he reminds me of Rafinha & Arda a bit .they both can play several positions .but non is a natural fit in any of them in Barca system .Arda was LW/RW at Atletico but he was brought as AM and isn't impressing so far .neither at RW when he played little there .Rafinha is AM but isn't a natural fit here and is forced on the wings too but again nothing more than a serviceable sub .

Solid showing vs Liverpool. I think he's got what it takes to do well for us. Those nutmegs by the way

I could see him doing great for us against all teams bellow 6th position in league table. But I just can't imagine him in our midfield, he doesn't seem to be completely tuned in when in defence. maybe it's his role in Villareal and he is instructed to play like that. I just want to see him as a Neymar replacement and that's it.

Midfield?he is RW/LW for now . he was AM and he might be able to turn into one since age on his side but for next season I highly doubt it as I said few posts above
Also need to cut some of the bad passes he makes ,that said love that he always finds away to influence the game
