I'd love Forlan in the Larsson role, he'd be perfect for it too, but he's as good as gone from Patetico this summer. He's been miserable this season and clearly he is mentally elsewhere.

He would be a brilliant signing for sure,can make Barca less-Messi dependent and even wont force Pep to change his tactics if Messi is out as he can either play as trequartista/false nine as he did with his national team at the WC or as an out and out striker or even out wide,with the emergence of Adirano as a versatile left back and the probable usage of ABidal as CB,promotion of Fontas/recall of botia,the actual teams need right now is a forwad

Not like I don't want him play for us but what difference does he offer compared to Villa!?
Also, considering he would be sold for his market value, which is 15m @ transfermarkt, would you guys be willing to do that transfer? Just a question, I'm not saying that is bad/good deal because I'm confused

I dont know what he has common with Villa to be honest,Villa works from the flanks in Pep's system and he is better in finishing than Forlan who is good at holding up the wall,strong and can either lead the line and be the focal point of attack creating space for those coming behind or work in the Messi role,he is also old,maybe willing to do some bench time to win some trophies plus he is experienced in La Liga,he would be a brilliant signing
