Donny van de Beek

When Solkskier is your coach, who is completely clueless as to how use a player like Van de Beek, that's the outcome.

Some players are only cut for coaches that see beyond the surface of things

Good player, bad or should I say horrendous move. This had red flags all over it. I can only think that money was a big factor for the player.

I am Dutch and I think he's overrated to be honest. Seems to be a player that thrives in limited number of systems. If that system caters to his abilities then yes, good production by him.

Seems like a pointless signing, he's barely played all season for them.

Something funny recently happened. Dutch coach was defending his choice to call up van der Beek because he had played 4000 minutes this season lol.
Turns out coach had read the wrong column in the data sheet.

Nevertheless, embarrassing stuff. I barely watched Man U and I know about his situation through reading news. You know a player like that has never played 4000 minutes. Messi himself played 4100 this season.

When players are in the second half of extra time, some of which have under performed, and the Manager does not want to use the bench, it’s time to go.

Wasn't he Wijnaldum Sub in Koeman's Dutch NT?

Maybe we could loan him with an option to buy, but even now I don't see where he comes into our team bar depth. Not unless Frenkie goes to CB.

Although it would be nice to have a goal scoring midfield option.

To me he also seems like an overrated player.
He is probably a system player who looks better due to a way oiled machine.
Similar to majority of players from Atletico and Liverpool.

Good while playing in the original well oil machine, but Uefa cup level (at best) when you put him in a different team.

Plenty of people to collect their L's.

With that said, he's still young and wouldn't be the first to fail in his first Premier League club and move on to have a great career.
