I thought grafite was the better of the two in terms of overall play as he really shit united's defenders up but that header was just soooooooooooooooooooooo good.

as is known I'm a big fan of number 9's and powerful headers and that goal was made of awesome. stunning stuff.

For me, Misimović is the best player in Wolfsburg. He's passing is really good, also he has great game vision, just speed sometimes betrays him. Džeko is great in headers but he must improve in dribblings and speed so that's why he needs to go to another team which is regular in CL competition. Nice to see him not moving to Milan this year.

About Misimovic your pretty right. Hes a very complete player, very comparable to Xavi from his stlye (18 league assists made him the 2nd best assister in europe last year afaik). He just lacks the pace, and he was formerly pretty notorious for a rather unhealthy lifestyle (not for clubbing, more for his taste for fast food etc.). But he got much more professional there.

Dzeko on the other hand is quite fast. At least thats my impression. He is usually the one going for Misimovic long balls and doing the counterattacks. Although by changing the coach from Magath to Veh, they also changed their gamestyle from long balls more to a short passing approach.

They did a few times already, mostly after subbing in Martins for a midfielder (Ziani mostly). But they also started with a 433 once or twice. I think they did so in their first CL match vs. ZSKA.

what is it with you guys? he plays well and scores a lot in the bundesliga so you assume he'd fit in fine at barca? there's a lot of factors to consider before signing a player from abroad.

firstly he's bosnian, so who knows how he'd settle in barcelona. would he have language problems? does he have a family? how happy are they in germany? he's 23 and this is his first season of note, can he repeat the trick or is he a one-season wonder ala kevin phillips? would he work in a 433? fuck, do wolfsburg even want to sell? they just won the bundesliga!

and then there's the crunch factor for me that he's said he dreams of playing in italy, particularly at juve or milan. this immediately puts us at a disadvantage if we sign him because we already know he dreams of being somewhere else.

with all that taken into consideration, it's much more likely that we'll sign someone we are more sure of.

Dzeko keeps scoring this season, its doesn't matter against who he play. He showing how last season wasn't just "luck", and my opinion is he will be big name very soon...
