I think it was just a ref mistake who whistled without waiting to see movement of the ball.

It was correct call, there is no advantage on penalty call.

Nothing lucky in this match, barca deserved win at the end, zidane was outclased by valverde even when zidane have superior squad, jusr notice their subs, 100m guy, isco and asensio,and still they couldnt score in 90 minutes.

There were a couple of other Barca players that did really well. This wasn't just Messi.

Messi, Roberto, Pique, Paulinho, Ter Stegen had excellent games while Iniesta, Suarez, Vermaelen, Rakitic and Busquets all had their moments.

To be honest i can't quite remember the last time when we played Real(or any big team for that matter) where we didn't have an obvious weak link.

This is just a fallacy. What's the point of waiting match after match for Barca to have its first loss so you can point out you were right all along about how @(#* we are. Nobody is denying this Barca is likely short in quality to win CL, but we are clearly not as @*#& as some people expected beginning of the season. The great thing is to see Barca hasn't declined as much as some people liked to believe and we show we are still a strong team even with some good players missing. Also great position to build a better team from.

Valverde has already poven his worth. FACT.

Christmas came early this year! Atletico lost, Valencia lost, Real got schooled in second half, messi humbled the crowd and we are 14 points clear (11) and la liga is ours to lose in december!!
After losing Neymar, getting beaten in supercopa and without Dembele so far!

Amazing, very happy about this win. Last 3 a liga classico’s in Bernabeu have all been all time great classics.
Edit: last 3 classico away (and 4 out of the last 5)

Seriously, did you watch the first half? They were dominating and we were lucky it was 0-0. We played excellent in second half though.

Real was pressing us so well in the first half we could hardly connect two passes in a row. It was that bad!

Still amazed how we pulled it off without Umtiti and Dembele or playing without RB signing, or never getting that midfielder. With Vermaelen and Paulinho..
But core of the team never fails. Pique, Busi, Iniesta, Messi keep giving us these great moments over the last decade.
