Tbh losing 1-0 at Old Trafford isn't exactly the worst result to expect. At least it wouldn't be another european humiliation.

Getting knocked out in the first round of the knock out rounds in the Europa League is a quintessential European humiliation.

Ferran Torres: "The game against Manchester United? We will have to run like there is no tomorrow. It will be a game of patience and knowing how to suffer."He is right. The one who has more strength will win. At the end of the first match, Manchester United ran out of steam and only fought back.

One thing is for sure .. they will kick lumps out of our players .. thankfully Pedri and Gavi will not be playing .

They have some nasty players .. Martinez , Casemiro , McTominey, Fernandes and Sabitzer are probably the worst but there are a few others

Hope we play with such composure and intention like Real Madrid have played tonight against Liverpool at Anfield.

Going to be tough without Pedri and Gavi.

Hopefully Lewandowski can show up. Going to need him to score a goal from nothing.

Xavi needs to show Real games on repeat till we get what it takes to win in Europe..

Sick of failing in Europe. YEARS and YEARS. SICK OF IT.

Way worse teams than ours do better.

It's a damn shame Xavi decided to throw away a very good chance at winning this tie in the first leg. Now Man Utd will have the players they missed back while Pedri and Gavi are unavailable making it a very tough task.

We were never winning the tie in the first leg. The teams are very close in quality.

You're speaking as if we had some Mbappe in the team and we left him on the bench. I like Balde and Christensen but come on... seriously?

Of course it's gonna be tough when we miss 3-4 starters due to injury, but we have to go out and give everything.

Serghei you're delusional and will continue making dumb excuses for him. Balde and Christensen have played a huge part in our great defensive record this season yet Xavi somehow keep benching them in European games which leads to us shipping goals that mostly come from their side because Alba and Alonso are finished in such games.

Christensen yes, Balde no. EL is a secondary objective compared to the league and that is why rotations happened. You have to accept them and look to improve the squad so you can rotate better. Been over this already and been mentioned by the manager as well.

Christensen blocks the first goal easily, and Xavi wasted Araujo on the right back. Massive mistakes because Kounde was having a total nightmare as a CB.

Balde looked lively compared to finished Alba too.

Huge huge fuck ups. No point downplaying those.

Don't care what is the league, you don't rotate against United. This is a big European game. You need to win these.

Whatever BS Xavi was talking about rotation, don't believe for a second.
